Every year Buckingham Prep hosts a book fair with the ‘Travelling Books’ company. We are always delighted to welcome Gale and Bill, who run the fair, in to our school. This year the fair took place on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.
Despite the bad weather, the fair was very busy and children of all ages enjoyed exploring and buying books from the extensive selection that was on offer. Some children were even lucky enough to take advantage of the ‘3 for 2’ offer.

Did Somebody Say Competition?
Our annual Book Fair was all set to take place in May and Miss Thompson had £25.00 worth of vouchers to give away. Therefore, a competition was announced and children from Nursery to Year 6 were encouraged to enter.
Children were asked to produce a piece of work linked to books and reading. Entries came flooding in which meant that the judging was a tough call.

Year 3 – Abhimaan – ‘The ’ Book Review
Year 5 – Jay – ‘What I Liked Best About Book Week’
We hope that the boys enjoyed spending their vouchers and are enjoying reading their new books.
