Say #helloyellow for mental health awareness

Posted: 9th October 2020

This year has been a bit of a tricky one for everyone, especially for a lot of young people. With schools, parks and many other of our usual places closed, our homes have been the only place that we’ve seen for the majority of 2020. Of course our Mental Health is going to have taken a little knock as a result of this, so on Friday 9th October, Buckingham Prep School decided to come together to highlight how important it is to look after our mental health.

In line with a charity day organised and supporting a charity called Young Minds, the entire school (staff & children) attended the day dressed in Yellow! Some of us were Spongebob, some of us wore yellow football kits, some of us turned into emoji’s and there was even a yellow sunflower! Everybody throughout the school put in the effort to make sure we supported such a fantastic charity, cause and day, all while having fun of course!
