Local Architecture Exploration 

Year 1 went on an explorative walk around the neighbourhood. The trip introduced their upcoming Architecture project in Art & Design and tied in with their learning about towns in Geography. The students were enthusiastic while pointing out the varying styles of Architecture from Art Deco to Tudor designs and enjoyed learning about timescales of development and sub-urbanisation. The trip was a triumph with the students behaving exceptionally as they navigated their way around the area and analysed the infrastructure around them.
