It has been another busy week here at Buckingham Preparatory School. On Monday 18th September 2023 we opened our doors to the parents for our annual Curriculum Evening. This gave our parents the chance to meet with their son’s new teachers and to find out about their exciting learning opportunities for the year.
Year 2 in particular had a busy week and were lucky enough to be personally invited to the Tower of London. They were full of questions for the Yeoman Warders and enjoyed practising their marching with a King’s Guard. Last year the boys learned lots of facts of the crown jewels so seeing them up close was really special. Learning about the animals that used to be held at the tower was a highlight of the trip and they enjoyed spotting the ravens around the grounds. They had mixed opinions on the idea of the Tower collapsing if all the ravens left. Do you believe the legend?
