Happy Halloween! In Year 1 we have been taking part in some Halloween science. Look at the photos to see our spooky faces grow. We made a chemical reaction in our bottles using vinegar and baking powder. The reaction caused carbon dioxide to bubble and pop which released the gas. The gas had no where to escape so it helped inflate our balloon, revealing our spooky face! If you would like to try the experiment, come in to have a look at our science reports!
