This was the first time for many years that both the Infant and Junior boys had a combined sports day. This new format seemed to work well. The weather gods were smiling on us, as the conditions were ideal for running, throwing and jumping. It was lovely to see all of the boys competing so fiercely in their events, whilst maintaining a high level of sportsmanship. I hope that all of the parents who came to support enjoyed themselves and I thank them for cheering on all of the competitors in their events. Each child who competed will be presented with a gold, silver or bronze medal reflecting their individual performance over the course of the day’s events. This will be presented at the Sports Day Assembly taking place on Friday 21st June at 8.45 to which parents are invited to attend.
